South Korea | The Big Picture

South Korea is located in North East Asia, between China and Japan. It covers the southern section of the Korean Peninsula, with a heavily fortified boarder separating it from the North.

South Korea has a population of 50 million people, half of which live right here in Greater Seoul. The country’s high-speed KTC rail network connects all major cities. The South Korean economy is heavily reliant on international trade… it’s the world’s fifth biggest exporter and seventh largest importer.
